User Management

The User Management Table is a data structure designed to manage user information within your system. It consists of several columns, including name, email, role, department, title, created, and actions. This table allows you to store and organize user data, including their names, emails, roles, departments, titles, creation timestamps, and provides actions for editing user details, blocking users, and managing permissions.

Introduction

The User Management Table serves as a central repository for managing user information within your system. It allows you to store and organize details such as user names, emails, roles, departments, titles, creation timestamps, and provides actions for managing user-related operations, including editing user details, blocking users, and managing permissions.

Adding Users

To add a user, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the New User button.

  2. Define the relevant attributes of the user that are Name, Email, Role, Login Type, Active Directory Name(optional, if login type is selected Active Directory or not), Department, Title.

  3. Click on the Save button to save your user.

Updating Users

To update a user, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Edit button under the Actions column for the spesific user that you want to edit.

  2. Modify the relevant attributes of the alert that are Name, Email, Role, Login Type, Active Directory Name(optional, if login type is selected Active Directory or not), Department, Title.

  3. Click on the Save button to save your changes on user.

Blocking / Unblocking Users

To block a user, follow these steps:

  1. Identify the user that needs to be blocked or unblocked within the User Management Table.

  2. Click on the Block User / Unblock User to enable or disable blocking on a user.

Managing Permissions

To manage permissions for a user, follow these steps:

  1. Identify the user that needs to be managed about permissions in the User Management Table.

  2. Select the table that you want to make change about permissions. Enable / Disable the values that is about the table such as page view, new, edit, delete etc. for this user.
